My name is Leah Peksenak. I grew up in Pittsburgh, was educated at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, and now I'm a certified region rat (with the perfect lemon rice soup recipe to prove it). I'm the wife of a lifelong region rat (though he's not much of a cook) and the mother of the most beautiful baby girl in the world (see the above picture if you don't believe me). In my free time, I'm probably at a karaoke night or reading Stephen King.

It is a real blessing to get to minister to this church. Marquette Park truly believes that God has created an abundant world, and that every corner of creation (including every single human being!) is full to bursting with God's good gifts. We welcome all people, no matter their race, age, income, gender identity, sexual orientation, or level of ability or disability. We can't wait to see and share and celebrate the gifts God has placed in you, all to the glory of the God who created and deeply loves us all.
